KIE01T - HAMBURG ( approximate 6 hours with light lunch) - 2011
Germanys second largest city, Hamburg has attracted visitors for centuries. Our excursion will begin with a bus drive to Hamburg : here we will explore this city and learn more about its past. We will see the City Hall, visit the impressive St. Michaels Church and walk the narrow streets of Krameramtsgasse. Enjoy a scenic tour of Hamburg past the Alster lake and the Speicherstadt with its pretty canal. Enjoy a typical, light German lunch and, after leaving your guide in Hamburg, return to Kiel.

KIE02D - MARITIME KIEL ( approximate 4 hours ) - 2012 
This is a panoramic tour of Kiel, the capital of the state of Schleswig-Holstein and a traditional maritime and naval city. During your transfer to the seaside resort of Laboe, you can admire the imposing canal which connects the Northern Sea to the Baltic. Once in Laboe, we will visit the Navy Memorial, a monument dedicated to the soldiers lost at sea during the two World Wars and naval history enthusiasts will be keen to see the old U-995 submarine. There is a magnificent view from the top of the memorial which takes in the surrounding sweeping landscapes of northern Germany. You will have the chance to enjoy a snack with fish local to Kiel and a soft drink.Note : Guides in some languages may not be available. Long walking involved. KIE04T - LUBECK ( approximate 6 hours with light lunch) - 2012 Enjoy a pleasant drive to the Hanseatic city of Lubeck across the beautiful German landscape. Discover the charming old town declared world cultural heritage by the UNESCO. You will discover the historic alleyways and courtyards which are remnants of late XIX century when the trade of the Hanseatic League was in full bloom. Admire the world-famous Holsten Gate, the seven spires, the Hospital of the Holy Ghost dating back to 1280 and St. Mary's Church home to the world's largest mechanical organ. We will embark on a delightful boat ride across five interconnecting lakes to reach Malente. These waterways are a popular tourist destination thanks to their winning combination of crystal clear waters, the medieval villages that line the shores and the huge shady forests that contribute to the magical, fairtytale atmosphere. In Malente you will visit the glass factory and watch the craftsmen demonstrate their skills. We will continue to Eutin, City of Roses, where you will explore the gardens of Eutin Castle and stroll the narrow streets around the lovely market place.
